As you adjust your clocks this morning following the end of daylight savings, it’s also the perfect time to check your smoke alarms. Ensuring you have adequate and working smoke alarms, provides an early warning and can save lives in the event of a fire

✅ Test your smoke alarms
✅ Replace batteries if needed
✅ Ensure alarms are clean and dust-free
✅ Check the expiry date (most last around 10 years)

Need help? A Home Safety Visit can assist in helping you reduce the risk of an accidental fire in the home and safely escape in the event of a fire.

Disaster proofing capabilities!

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we're harnessing the roaming capabilities of cattle to provide temporary communications when service connectivity is disrupted due to major incidents like floods or bushfires.

The tactical CoW provides access to internet services, extended Wi-Fi and local radio repeater capability, using 4G and satellite technologies. With this new capability our CoWs are able to help communities reconnect if they're cut-off or isolated. Now that's what we call cow-nectivity!

🔥Bush fire survival plan🔥

Unfortunately, bushfire is a part of life in New South Wales. So we all need to live bushfire ready. That means knowing your risk and having a plan for what to do during a fire.

To help your family prepare for a bushfire, you need to make a bushfire survival plan. This will help you make important decisions like when to leave, what to take, and what to do with animals. Your bushfire plan should then be discussed and agreed upon with your family and anyone else living inside of your home

You can create a plan online in as little as five minutes by visiting www.myfireplan.com.au Or you can formulate your own plan by using the easy to use, step by step guide found herehttps://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/.../0003/36597/BFSP-Complete.pdf
