Every year it plays to packed houses of merry making audience members. People who don't book early, don't get in. The show has always varied its style from straight satirical r***e to music hall variety and pantomime. In 2012, we will offer a two act musical comedy packed with music by local musicians and performers of all sorts. This years themes include the 60th anniversary of the Rhododendron F
estival and quirky time travel! Along the way we will be taking time out to laugh at Blackheath itself, most especially its quaint institutions, its funny little ways, its colourful history .. The exciting and experienced production team is being assembled as we speak! Song and dialogue writers have been at work since February. Scenes have been fine tuned by volunteer actors at intensive workshops very soon. Auditions are at the beginning of August and will be announced soon, and rehearsals are set down for September and October. There will be four fun-filled performances in November.
