Today we had a surprise Just Dance Lunch Club!

It was amazing to see students from across the school come together, have fun, and enjoy themselves. There was plenty of laughter and dancing, with lots of smiles and positive energy filling the room!

Next Friday is Footy Day!

Students are encouraged to come dressed in the colours of their favourite AFL, rugby or soccer team.

The day will kick off at 9:15 am with our Footy Parade. Parents are very welcome to come along and watch the parade and cheer on our students!

After the parade, students will take part in a range of fun footy activities, test their knowledge in our famous Footy Quiz, and enjoy a delicious sausage sizzle lunch.

We can’t wait to see everyone dressed in their team colours and ready for a fantastic day of footy fun!

Our Year 5/6 students had a fantastic day at Hooptime yesterday! All of our students had fun and represented OGPS extremely well throughout the day.

Congratulations to all students who played basketball for the first time, as well as those who made it through to Grand Finals.

A special congratulations to our All Star boys and Future Star boys teams, who were runners up on the day, and our Future Star girls who won their grand final. The Future Star girls will now progress to regional finals next term.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing parents and teachers who supported and helped make the day possible. Well done OGPS!

Today we were very lucky to have an impromptu visit from ex-student Josh, who is now a police officer!

Josh enjoyed catching up with some of his former teachers and chatting with some of our Grade 2 and 3 students. It was wonderful to welcome him back to our school.

Our students got behind the JSC’s Beanie Day for FightMND, with so many students coming to school in their favourite beanies. We saw bright colours, fun designs, and plenty of creative headwear throughout the school!

It was fantastic to see our students getting involved and showing their support for such an important cause.

On Saturday, Mrs Crozier visited 123read2me to deliver the first load of our donated books.

There were so many wonderful books donated that she couldn’t fit them all in the car and will need to make another trip!

The amazing volunteers at the warehouse will clean, sort and box the books, getting them ready to be enjoyed by more readers.

Congratulations to all of our amazing Grade 5 and 6 students on their recent interschool sports achievements!

Our teams competed in tennis, downball, basketball, cricket, ultimate frisbee and volleyball, proudly representing Orchard Grove.

We are so proud of the way our students demonstrated our school values throughout the competition, showing teamwork, respect, resilience and great sportsmanship. Well done to everyone involved!

A huge thank you also to the wonderful parents who generously gave their time to coach, score and cheer on our teams. We couldn’t do it without your support!

What a beautiful morning our Foundation students had celebrating their dads and special people! There were lots of nails painted, pictures coloured, board games played, and plenty of delicious pancakes with ice cream enjoyed throughout the morning. It was wonderful to see our students sharing special moments with the important people in their lives.

It was also fantastic to see so many dads and special people taking the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary coffee from the coffee cart to celebrate Father's Day!
