At Biloela State High School, we are committed to fostering success and individual pathways for all students. As our Year 10 students begin planning for Year 11 and their senior schooling journey, they will have the opportunity to explore the many academic, vocational and alternative pathways available to them.

SAVE THE DATE - WEDNESDAY 15TH JULY 2026

Through information sessions, surveys, transition days and individual interviews, students and families will be supported by our dedicated Senior Pathways team to make informed decisions about their future.

We encourage all Year 10 students and parents/carers to join us throughout this important process as we work together to create a pathway for success. 💙

We are excited to celebrate the students who have been selected to serve in leadership positions for 2026/2027.

☕❤️ RITA’S TAKEOVER RECAP
Our Interact Club’s final Rita’s Takeover was a huge success, raising over $700 for future community projects.
It was wonderful to see our Interactors serving customers, baking, creating, and proudly representing Bilo High and our community.
A heartfelt thank you to Rita for supporting our students and making this opportunity possible over the years. Thank you also to the Rotary Club of Biloela for your ongoing support and mentorship.
Most importantly, thank you to our community for your generosity and encouragement.

SENIOR PHYSICS IN ACTION

📸 Wondering why the class photo is completely black? It's not a camera malfunction—we promise! Our Senior Physics students were working in a darkroom as part of their latest investigation into light.

🔬🌈 As part of their Waves unit, students explored reflection, refraction and dispersion using prisms and ray models. Through hands-on experiments, they investigated how different wavelengths of light bend by different amounts, creating the colours of the visible spectrum.

While it may not be our brightest photo, it certainly captures authentic learning in action!

ENROLMENT UPDATE!

While our Transition Night was a full house, we know not everyone was able to make it along.

So today, our incoming School Leaders, Chloe & Clae hit the road and visited our local primary schools to hand-deliver enrolment packs to our future Bilo High students!

If you haven’t already, be sure to return your enrolment forms to our wonderful ladies in Admin as soon as possible.

The future is bright at Bilo High, and we can’t wait to welcome our 2027 cohort! 💙💛
