We are incredibly grateful for the generous donation of beautiful handmade quilts for survivors across all our SECASA sites.
These quilts are much more than something to keep warm. They are used during therapy to provide comfort, a sense of safety and emotional support to survivors as they navigate their healing journey.
Thank you, Norma and everyone at Waverley Patchworkers Inc., for your generosity.

Next week marks an important moment for many victim survivors, families and communities across Victoria.
On Thursday 30 July at 11:30am, the Victorian Government will deliver a formal Parliamentary Apology to victims and survivors who experienced child sexual abuse in Victorian Government schools.
The apology will acknowledge the profound harm experienced by victim survivors, their families, loved ones, supporters and affected school communities. It will also recognise the systemic failures that allowed abuse to occur and the lasting impacts these experiences continue to have.
For many, this apology represents an important step in acknowledging the truth of what happened and recognising the courage of those who have shared their stories.
The apology can be viewed via livestream or attended at public viewing events in Melbourne CBD, Wodonga, Horsham, Morwell and Ballarat.
