We are having a sale! We will be opening on Sunday 05/11 from 10am until 4pm to sell some of our crockery, tableware and more. Take away coffee and scones with jam and cream will also be on offer. So feel free to come for a bargain, and those delicious homemade scones you have been missing, on Sunday. We will see you there!

What’s the secret to the best birthday cake? Joy! Your cake doesn’t have to be perfect to be enjoyed by everyone. Have fun, experiment and just give it a go. This castle cake was for our three year old and was made at the (very) last minute. Was it perfect? No. Did she adore it? Yes! It is the love you put in a cake that counts. So make this your year to give cake decorating a go. Even if it ends up going completely wrong, it will be a very delicious disaster.

We are a little late with this post, but it is worth the wait. Thank you to especially Mandy and Tash. What started as a very vague idea for a 90th birthday cake turned into something truly incredible. This stunning stand and cake topper were created by Blooms on Bridge who’s only brief was “make it bright and somehow fix it to a circular stand.” You girls lifted the vision from my imagination and made it even more incredible than I had planned. As always, we appreciate you!

It’s not the post we want to write, but it is an important one. We will be closed effective immediately due to extended illness. We are a completely family run business so when one of us is going through something, we all are. This is only temporary and we will be back! This page will be updated with our reopening date as soon as we know when that will be. As always, thank you to our wonderful customers who have supported us through the last three years. We miss you already.

Well it’s another wet day in Benalla! All the more reason to find a cosy spot and treat yourself to some delicious cake. We are open until 3pm today. If dining in isn’t your thing, take away is available for our entire menu. So come and get some goodies then curl up on your couch and watch the world go by.
