Education Malaysia Australia (EMA) – Perth recently organised a casual get-together with Christian Georgi, a New Colombo Plan (NCP) scholar who will be travelling to Malaysia in September 2026 as part of his academic and cultural mobility programme.

Together with representatives from MASCA WA and MHRC Perth, everyone gathered at Jom Kopitiam for a casual session to enjoy Malaysian food, get to know each other and share some helpful tips ahead of his upcoming trip to Malaysia.

The gathering was also joined by Mr. Hafiz from EMA Perth and Mr. Irwan, warden of Malaysia Hall Perth. The session aimed to foster new friendships, meaningful cultural exchange and provide a warm introduction to Malaysia ahead of his upcoming journey.
