The Brigade held a productive training day this morning covering hose deployment, village firefighting techniques, hydrant use for water extraction, fire ground safety, radio operations and water supply knowledge. Members also replaced the inner tyre on Cat 7, remixed drip torch fuel supplied by Bellbrook Fuel Station, and reshuffled the kitchen cupboards to keep everything organised. The day wrapped up with a debrief and a BBQ lunch kindly supplied by Bellbrook RFS. It would be fantastic to see more members joining these training days to keep skills sharp and our community safe.

Well another zone training season is almost over. Last weekend was the final BF assessment day.
Mick from Bellbrook was present again helping with the assessment of the candidates. Just one of the many courses he helps with over the year.
I anyone is thinking of joining the RFS contact your local bridge or search online. Training will commence again next year with many courses offering various skills.

Also. A big thank you from the Bellbrook Bridge to Bunnings Kempsey for their kind donation of a pressure cleaner. It will help greatly around the shed and keeping the vehicle's clean.

Just some follow up on the Yowie Festival weekend..
Thanks for everyone that came out to Bellbrook and made it such a success.
A total of $3426.00 was raised to go towards the restoration of the old Fire Truck. Hopefully work can commence soon. Attached photo shows hand over of money.
Also a big thank you to Dave, Chunk, Peter, and everyone else who helped out over the weekend.
Also thanks to James for his work on bbq.
Let's hope we can do it again next year.

Please be careful lighting any fires. Don't forget to get a permit and keep in mind the weather conditions and days permits are suspended.
Things have dried off quite quickly over the past past week, so here's hoping the forecast rain arrives in the next couple of days and gives everything a good drink.
