A massive congratulations to all our amazing staff and students who took on the Kokoda Challenge over the weekend. They showed incredible resilience, determination, and teamwork throughout the preparation and participation. 👏💪
They were out on course for a little over 10 hours crossing the finish line at 7.30pm. We are so proud of your efforts and the way you represented our college community. What an amazing achievement!

And they’re off! Wishing the very best of luck to our incredible teams as they leave the Brookfield Reserve as part of the annual The Kokoda Challenge Community this morning.

Our staff and students are tackling the 30km course through the steep and beautiful terrain of D'Aguilar National Park. ⛰️🌳

The core values of courage, endurance, and mateship are being put to the test by all participants as they raise vital funds to support local youth programmes undertaken by the Kokoda Youth Foundation.

In the lead-up to the 2026 Art Gallery, our Art students had been hard at work preparing for the event! 🎨✨

Students across all year levels were busy creating, curating, and setting up a fantastic collection of artworks that showcased their creativity, growth, and dedication throughout the year.

Year 8 students had been getting their hands messy creating colourful clay pop art pieces, Year 10 students were exploring Still Life artworks, and Year 11 students were designing and crafting their own handmade art books.

What an incredible celebration of culture, community, and connection at the Africa Day Festival 2026!

We are incredibly proud of our Bellbird Park State Secondary College students, Iranzi, Bethlehem, Aimerence, Olivia and Elizabeth, who represented our school with pride, enthusiasm, and talent as they participated in the festival celebrations and showcased vibrant African dance performances. Their energy, confidence, and cultural pride captivated the audience and highlighted the rich diversity that makes our school community so special.

The festival was a wonderful opportunity for our students to celebrate their heritage, connect with the wider community, and share the beauty of African culture through music, dance, and storytelling. Events like these strengthen cultural understanding, foster belonging, and create meaningful connections across communities.
