⭐ Debating Success at Belair ⭐
The Preliminary Rounds for both the Year 5 and Year 6 Debating teams have recently concluded, with each team participating in five rounds. We are proud to share that both teams achieved outstanding success, winning all of their debates and finishing clear at the top of the ladder. The Year 5 team finished 1st out of 24 teams, while the Year 6 team finished 1st out of 44 teams. A fantastic achievement for both teams.
Although the Year 5 team does not participate in finals this year, they should be extremely proud of their efforts and achievements. We hope to see these students continue their debating journey next year. The Year 6 team will now move on to the Finals, which will be a knock-out round. We wish them all the very best as they prepare for this exciting next stage of the competition.
Congratulations to all of our debaters for their hard work, commitment and excellent results. We also extend our sincere thanks to their coach, Mrs Ali Farmer, for her hard work, dedication and ongoing support of our students throughout the season.
