Well done to Luna, Eleanor, Tia and Jahseh who proudly represented BVPS at the district final of the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking competition. In a tough competition all four confidently presented speeches with a clear message in both the prepared and impromptu categories. Extra congratulations to Eleanor and Tia who came away with highly commended!

Congratulations to class 34R for their fantastic presentation and for winning Buttercup for the next two weeks – well deserved! 🏆

We also celebrated some amazing class awards and celebrated some school sports records being broken – incredible effort from our students! 🥇🎖️

A special shoutout to our Festival of Instrumental Music students who played brilliantly as they prepare for their upcoming performance at the Sydney Opera House. 🎶🎻

School Athletics Carnival Delivers Record-Breaking Performances

Our annual Athletics Carnival was a resounding success, with students displaying remarkable sportsmanship, talent, and school spirit. The event was filled with cheering crowds, outstanding performances, and thrilling moments that will be remembered for years to come.

We are proud to announce several new school records set by our exceptional athletes:

Nate Alcock smashed both the Senior Boys Discus and Shot Put records.
Elanora Hudson set a new benchmark in the 11 Years Girls Shot Put event.
Joel Nicholson sprinted into history by breaking the 9 Years Boys 100m record.
Congratulations to all our record-breakers and every participant who gave their best effort. These achievements reflect the hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm of our students and the support from staff and families. We look forward to further sporting successes throughout the year!
