Congratulations to Crew Legal on such a beautiful and successful Spring Gala Ball last night 🍇

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our amazing Redcliffe community a whopping $45K has been raised for Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital 🏥

Funds raised already have helped bring life saving equipment to maternity, a touch of home to the palliative care unit and beautiful gardens for the rehab unit, as well as fund vital research projects.

Thanks to all who made this night such a success 💫

The Moreton Island Fishing Classic is an annual event at Bulwer that attracts recreational fishers from all over 🎣 🐠

This year 268 entrants + 47 kids 🐟

An inspiring evening representing Minister for Women Fiona Simpson MP celebrating 20 years of Women on Boards (WOB).

Being in a room full of influential women who are bringing diversity to board rooms and making an enduring impact, I’ve found my tribe!

We are ones who want a seat at the table to use our voices to bring positive change.

Special congratulations to Claire Braund OAM and Ruth Medd who had the vision to start WOB two decades ago and have helped reimagine boards nationally and globally through leadership, grit and determination!

Being diagnosed with cancer comes with shock, fear and the uncertainty of treatment regimes.

Being able to receive treatment close to home provides peace of mind and some comfort in the midst of what can otherwise be a very distressing and challenging time.

Today I got to meet, Buangan - or BG for short, Ningi Ningi for dolphin, the brand new Linear Accelerator machine that delivers radiation therapy for cancer patients.

The first of its kind right here in Redcliffe thanks to GenesisCare.

I got a sneak peak tour of the wonderful new GenesisCare Cancer Care Centre on Portwood St and met some of the inspiring staff who work there.

This centre will be a game changer for those needing radiation and other cancer treatment closer to home 🏡
