Congratulations to one of our amazing ‘Fuelling Future Champions’ winners from Beenleigh Aquatic Centre! 🏆🏊‍♂️

We’re incredibly proud of the dedication, commitment and hard work our squad swimmers have shown throughout winter. Every early morning, tough training session and lap in the pool has helped build stronger, more confident swimmers, and it’s fantastic to see that commitment recognised!

The Rackley Squad Swimming ‘Fuelling Future Champions’ promotion has officially wrapped up, with 40 lucky winners selected from more than 800 entries across our squad swimming community. What an incredible achievement! 🎉

🏊✨ What an unforgettable afternoon!

Last Friday, some of our swimmers from the Rackley squad programs had the incredible opportunity to train alongside Brazilian Olympian, Etiene Medeiros at Beenleigh Aquatic Centre.

A trailblazing sprint swimmer and one of Brazil's most decorated female athletes, Etiene is a World Champion in the 50m Backstroke, a Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympian, and a former world record holder. Throughout her career, she has inspired swimmers around the world with her determination, speed and precision in the pool.

Our squad swimmers were invited to jump into the water and complete a training session with Etiene, experiencing the same drills, swim sets and techniques that have helped her compete on the world's biggest stage. It was a unique opportunity to learn firsthand from one of the sport's elite athletes.

Following the session, swimmers stayed for an engaging Q&A where Etiene shared stories from her journey to the Olympic Games, insights into international competition, race preparation, and advice for aspiring athletes. Her passion for swimming and willingness to inspire the next generation made the afternoon one our swimmers won't soon forget.

We're incredibly grateful to Etiene for taking the time to train with our squads while she's in Australia and for sharing so much of her experience with our swimming community.

Thank you, Etiene, for inspiring our athletes, and we wish you every success as you continue your high-performance journey towards your next Olympic campaign. 💚💛

We are honoured to welcome world-class international swimmers to our brand-new high-performance pool at Beenleigh Aquatic Centre, including Brazilian Olympian, former World Champion, and one of Brazil's most decorated female swimmers, Etiene Medeiros, alongside Romanian breaststroker Marius.

Here, we showcase the power of sport to connect people from across the globe. It was fantastic to see these athletes training in our world-class facilities and sharing the pool with our local swimmers.

In our venues, we're passionate about creating pathways for swimmers of all levels, from learn-to-swim through to elite performance. Having international athletes of this calibre training at Beenleigh is a fantastic inspiration for our next generation of swimmers.
