💍 LOST RING – BEDOURIE POOL COMPLEX

We’re asking visitors and community members to please keep an eye out for a lost ring at the Bedourie Pool Complex.

The ring holds strong sentimental value, so we would be very grateful if anyone who finds it could please hand it in to the Diamantina Shire Council Administration Office in Bedourie or call 0474 707 996.

Please feel free to share and help us reunite this special item with its owner. ❤️

🐍 SNAKE SAFETY – KING BROWN SNAKES SIGHTED

King brown snakes have recently been sighted in the area, so please stay alert when moving around outdoors.

If you see a snake:
• Keep well away and give it plenty of space
• Do not attempt to touch, catch or move it
• Keep children and pets away
• Report sightings to Council

If someone is bitten, call 000 immediately, keep the person still and calm, and apply a pressure immobilisation bandage if available.

Please take care and remain vigilant.

The Birdsville School Pool is available for community use from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

🔑 Key Deposit: $50 refundable deposit available from Wirrarri Visitor Information Centre

Please help us keep the facility available for everyone by:

✅ Respecting the school grounds and facilities

✅ Using only the designated pool facilities

✅ Leaving the area clean and tidy

✅ Returning the key after use
