Charlie's current goal is to travel five metres independently around the basketball court, using a headrest to control her wheelchair. She's so close!

This is the kind of thing we get up to every day at Conie Avenue - come along on Wednesday and say hello.

Where can the kids get up close and feed farm animals in the Hawkesbury? 🐐

We were so touched by this beautiful write-up from our friends at Dido's Place — thank you for capturing the heart of The Secret Garden so perfectly!

Yes, we have $3 feed bags for our friendly goats, chickens and guinea fowl, horses to say hello to, in-ground trampolines, and a huge gated sandpit right next to the café for that much-loved $5 scone with jam and cream.

But as you so beautifully said — what makes this place special is its purpose.

The Secret Garden is run by North West Disability Services, and everything you see — from the gardens and nursery, to the art, the café, and the care of our animals — is made possible by our incredible participants, support workers, horticulturalists and volunteers.

Every coffee, every plant, every bag of feed helps support something wonderful in our community.

And we would LOVE to see you at our Annual Spring Fair — Saturday 19th September, 9am - 2pm. Train rides, live music, market stalls, farm animals, Devonshire tea and hundreds of plants at bargain prices. Entry just $3.

Thank you again to Dido's Place for helping us share the secret that is too good to keep! 💚

Sunday Explorers hit the Museum of Illusions!

Liam, Addie, Mcherley, Ryan and Patrick swapped their usual Sunday routines for an afternoon at the Museum of Illusions.

(That first photo might end up being the cover of their next album...)

Optical illusions are a brilliant way to slow down and really look. Working out how a room tricks your eyes, spotting the pattern behind a puzzle, figuring out why something that looks impossible actually isn't.

They worked through interactive challenges together, compared notes on what they were seeing, and experienced the world from some VERY different angles.

Up for some Sunday adventures? Get in touch - [email protected] | 02 96864155

We're only days away from it being officially spring... And time for our Spring Fair at the The Secret Garden Community Hub.

If you've heard the latest NDIS news, you might know that funding for social participation is set to be reduced.

By attending Spring Fair, not only are you buying and supporting local makers and vendors, you're also supporting us to keep delivering the supports we know matter most.
