A collection of five years of photos of the wonderful Hobart Rivulet Bushcare group!
Thanks to the steadfast, untiring support of convenor John, and wonderful volunteers of all ages, we are starting to see the rewards of so much w**ding, planting and more w**ding.
We have earned the reward of seeing platypus while working!
Look for us on the second Sunday of the month, 2pm on Hobart Rivulet.
Great teamwork, thanks everyone.

Have you heard of a De-limiting survey?
This lovely group of people mustered on the chilly but sunny slopes of Kunanyi to help map the outer edges of Daphne (Spurge) laurel above Fern Tree.
We found six plants which is six more than we hoped, but very useful information.
Amazingly, no leeches reported.
Thanks everyone! We'll do it again!

Waterworks Bushcare did something different on Sunday! Instead of pulling hundreds of w**ds or planting hundreds of seedlings, we protected a single plant - a huge centenarian.

With exposed roots on bare rocky ground, the mature stringybark tree is in poor health. We hope that by bringing logs and old fallen branches to trap organic material, then soil health and water absorption may improve, and the tree's decline may gradually halt. Old trees change slowly. Bushcare will continue to keep an eye on the soil and organic material around this tree for years to come.
We also had fun w**ding and taking photos!

Thanks so much to those who shared their Sunday with likeminded caring people. Credit to Kate and Ellie for photos.
