The Mt Lyell copper mine in Queenstown has been given the green light to restart mining operations. 300 jobs, and more than $490m in investment coming to the West Coast 💪

If you’re having a bad day, please spare a thought for Janie Finlay.

She has been against the sale of Rushy Lagoon from the start.

Today her colleagues overruled her, backing the sale of Tasmania’s biggest farm for foreign carbon credits.

Thankfully the Parliament out voted Labor, and an investigation into the sale will go ahead.

Earlier in the year, she told law-abiding fi****ms owners there would be no restrictions placed upon them.

Her colleagues rolled her.

Ms Finlay was a vehement anti-stadium supporter.

Until she was told no.

This isn’t a random backbencher, this is the Deputy Leader of the Tasmanian Labor Party.

And every issue that she’s supported has been torn from her hands.

The Champion without a cause.
