NSW's First EV Travel Map Launches: Charge, Scan, Explore!

Last year the CNSWJO received funding through NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water's Joint Organisation Net Zero Accelerator Program to support councils with a range of EV-related initiatives.

One of the major projects delivered through this program is the development of the EVenture Map which has now officially launched!

The EVenture Map is a simple digital tool designed to encourage EV drivers (and other visitors) to explore and spend time in our towns. The map is not limited to EV drivers - it can be used by anyone.

Explore and plan your EV journey at www.eventuremap.nsw.gov.au

EVenture Map is a free initiative for users, developed through the NSW Government Joint Organisation Net Zero Accelerator (JONZA) Program, a collaboration of joint organisations and regional councils across NSW.

A detour is currently in place on the Great Western Highway following the closure of Victoria Pass in both directions - but don't let that halt your road-trip adventure as there are Other Ways to the West. The region is still very much open for business, and there are some genuinely spectacular ways to get here.

Construction in local government is about building and maintaining the infrastructure communities rely on every day - roads, drainage, parks, and public spaces that people use long after the job is done.

Councils across Australia are hiring right now, with opportunities spanning civil works, trades, site supervision, project management, and engineering.

Whether you’re on the tools or managing projects, you’re part of work that has a visible, lasting impact.
