WE’VE REACHED $5,000!

What an incredible effort from our Central West community!

Our 40 for 40 challenge has raised an amazing $5,000 to support the Central West Women’s Health Centre and the vital work they do for women and children across our region.

A huge thank you to everyone who has signed up, taken on a challenge, donated or spread the word. Every contribution is making a difference.

Dr Catherine Errey consults at Central West Women's Health Centre every Thursday, offering care in a safe, welcoming, women-centred space.

Dr Errey can help with:
- Cervical screening and sexual health
- Contraception and reproductive health
- Menopause and perimenopause
- Pregnancy planning and general women's health concerns

Meet our 40th Anniversary Dinner guest speaker, Jennifer Robinson.

We’re thrilled to welcome Australian human rights lawyer and barrister Jennifer Robinson to Bathurst for this very special evening.

Jennifer is a leading voice in international human rights law, having worked with activists and political prisoners around the world and served as legal counsel to Julian Assange and WikiLeaks.

Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking evening as we celebrate 40 years of the Central West Women’s Health Centre.

A huge thank you to Bunnings Bathurst for their generous donation towards our fundraiser raffle prize!
This year Central West Women's Health Centre is proudly celebrating 40 years of service to women, children and young people across the Central West, and community support like this is what has kept us going since 1986.
Every ticket sold helps us continue providing counselling, casework, health education and group programs in our region. Thank you, Bunnings Bathurst, for backing local women and families.

Counselling appointments available now!
Our Master of Counselling placement student currently has immediate availability for counselling sessions at Central West Women’s Health Centre.
She brings a strong foundation of counselling knowledge and practical skills from her post-graduate studies and is supported by our experienced clinical team throughout her placement. Sessions provide a safe, confidential and supportive space to talk through whatever may be going on for you.
Appointments are completely free of charge and are available Tuesdays and Thursdays through to December.
By choosing to see a placement student, you’re also helping an emerging counsellor build valuable real-world experience and supporting the next generation of professionals in our community. 💜

OUT OF THE DARK: A family violence support group for women is coming up. Have you experienced domestic or family violence, or are you worried about your relationship? You don't have to work through it alone.

Join us for a free two-week program in a safe, supportive and confidential space, alongside other women who understand.

Topics include:
💜 Myths and facts about domestic and family violence
- The cycle of violence and recognising relationship warning signs
- The impacts of violence on children
- Safety planning, ADVOs and support options

Time: 10am to 3pm
