The Barossa Valley Cider CO's Squashed Apple Cider' is full, rich and creamy with a satisfying balan

Barossa brothers, Oscar & Hugo Bowen grew up in a wine family with an interest in fermenting anything they could get their hands on! Having cut their teeth messing around with red grapes from their home vineyard and sick of the stained hands and teeth, they decided to create the best cider in South Australia. The boys spend most of their time looking for the best South Australian apples to squash

in the apple press before cold fermenting. Quite clearly they have created a winner with all their mates lined up to make the Squashed Apple Cider their favourite drink.

Join us this Saturday the 18th from 1pm - 4pm at the where we will be pouring our ciders at the Spring Sips session.

There will be over a dozen amazing producers showcasing their amazing wines and other beverages.

Last night was a special night for Barossa Cider Co. Our Squashed Apple Cider was awarded 2 of the 3 Cider Trophies at the 2025 Royal Adelaide Beer & Cider Awards! BEST CIDER IN SHOW and BEST SOUTH AUSTRALIAN CIDER!

We couldn’t be more proud to have been awarded all three major trophies at this years Royal Adelaide Beer and Cider Awards. It’s the second year in a row our Squashed Apple cider and Squashed Pear Cider have taken out all three prestigious awards and we couldn’t happier.
