📚Scholastic Book Fair - We are ready to shop! 📚

As part of our annual Book Week celebrations, our Scholastic Book Fair will run this week.

All students will visit the Book Fair on Thursday to create their Wish Lists.

Students and families are welcome to come in and make purchases at the following times:

Thursday 10th September - 3:00 - 4:00 pm
Friday 11th September - 8:30 - 8:55 am
Friday 11th September - 3:00 - 4:00 pm

All classes will have the opportunity to purchase items during school time on Friday, in addition to these times.

💛 Father’s Day Breakfast 💛

What a fantastic turnout for our Father’s Day Breakfast! 🥓🍳

It was wonderful to see so many fathers, grandfathers, uncles, carers and special people enjoying breakfast and quality time with our students. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the students loved having their special people at school with them!

A huge thank you to our staff who were up early cooking, serving and helping make the morning such a success. 👏

👏 SCHOOL SUPPORT RECOGNITION WEEK 👏

Sometimes the best way to say thank you is simply to hear it from the students themselves 🗣️

This week, our students have taken the opportunity to say THANK YOU to the incredible support staff who are such an important part of life at Barooga Public School.

From helping students learn, encouraging them when things are tricky, celebrating their successes, providing a listening ear, sharing a laugh, or simply being there when they are needed — our support staff make a difference every single day.

Their care, patience, kindness, flexibility and unwavering commitment help our students feel supported, valued and ready to learn.

And as this clip so beautifully shows, our students notice. 🥰

To our amazing support staff — thank you for everything you do, both the things that are seen and the countless things that happen quietly behind the scenes.

💛 Two Great Events Tomorrow! 💛

A little reminder for our Barooga Public School families that tomorrow is a big day!

🥓 Father’s Day Breakfast
Join us from 7.45am–9.00am for a bacon & egg roll, some outdoor games and a chance to spend some special time together at school.

🎁 Father’s Day Stall
Students will also have the opportunity to choose a special Father’s Day gift, with presents ranging from $1–$10. Don’t forget to send along some money if your child would like to make a purchase.

We can’t wait to see our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, carers and special guests tomorrow! 💛
