Another fantastic training night for our SES team! We spent the evening getting hands‑on with a range of tools, practicing repair techniques, and building the skills that help us serve our community when it matters most.

We’re incredibly proud of our team and the supportive learning environment we’ve built. There’s always something new to learn, and we back each other every step of the way.

If you’ve ever thought about joining the SES, we’d love to have you. New volunteers are always welcome.

Please contact the SES for:
✅ Trees or branches that have fallen and are blocking access to your house or causing structural damage
✅ You need temporary repairs for water leaking into the living areas of your home
✅ Your house is flooded or about to flood

Another big Tuesday night! We were joined by Cr May Mitchell to officially open our new roller door (saving the hassle of removing a centre mullion in the rain to get vehicle and trailer in and out). Followed by mastering the slow art of vehicle recovery with picket holdfasts and Tirfor winch.
