Youth Off the Streets Bankstown are offering a 3 day peer mentoring camp where various workshops are offered. These include Saver Mate peer education, peer mentoring, campaign and social action development. Furthermore there will be some great outdoor activities. You will have the opportunity to deliver your own AOD workshop in schools and launch your campaign. The cherry on the cake is the opportunity to co-organise a youth camp for 30 young people in January 2018 and come along as a peer mentor. Everything is free and we will give you a small financial contribution for your participation, prizes, awards, certificates and an amazing reference for future employment at the end of the project. The only thing that Youth Off the Streets are asking from you is your commitment and willingness to deliver the projects, attend monthly meetings and make yourself available in January 2018 to be a peer mentor at the camp.
