Hi Everyone I know it's been a fair while since my last post life has been busy for me as I'm my Dad's carer who is 92 years young and his been unwell since August and then my own huge health issue which has seen my under go 8.5 hour mega thoracic surgery in January. Still have 2 more large surgery a head but I have been also having a few little possums in care during this time. Latest arrival is Molly the little brushtail possum. It will take me a good 6 to 10 month to fully heal enough to being able to get back to the amount of possums I normally care for.

I have been given the all clear and I'm no longer restricted after my back to back shoulder surgery. Getting back to what I love most doing.
Possum Paws has mystery bags on Melts up for grabs for example if you buy a mystery bag for $20 you will get 25 per bag and so on.
The money goes towards the care of the possums currently incare with me.
The items funds go towards is Formula
Medical if they require vet treatment.
Teats
Paper towel
Wipes
Tissues.
Supplement feed.
I am running low on some of these items since I have had my shoulder surgies back to back.

I haven't totally decided on a name for the tiny little boy yet he only just opened his eyes in the last couple days.
Also 2 Ringtails Bonnie and Clyde who don't like me one bit.

Merry Christmas have a lovely day. Stay safe on the roads if your travelling. Please keep a eye out for wildlife. If your at home if your could place out a dish of water add sticks or use a shallow dish so if animals fall in they can climb out.

Goodbye shoulder immobiliser finally I can actually sleep lying down tonight will be a bit strange as I have had to sleep sitting up since the start of October. Still have inflammation at shoulder joint and some pain which I expect physio back to 3 days a week only no need to do it at home every other day at this stage. Had a ultrasound to see the tendons and to check how the latissimus dorsi is healing very well where they made my tendon for my supraspinatus repair.
Will still have days I can't get my arm above my shoulder for at least 12 months but it's a lot of steps forward from where I was if all goes well I will be discharged from the surgical unit in 3 months.

Hi everyone just wanted to check in and see how your all going. I'm doing well can finally lift a kilo physio 3 times a week see surgeon at the end of Feb and then my daughter's wedding in March. I have a little Brushtail in Care his a delight.

I hope you all have a great Christmas and stay safe if your travelling. I will be back hoping to be around the end of March as I still am in the shoulder immobiliser until the end of February ,I get a bit of free time for 3 to 4 hours a day out of it. Thank you for your inboxes checking in on me. For those of you who don't know I ended up having a supraspinatus tendon transfer and other repairs to my Rotator cuff having physio in March physio will be 3 times a week for a few months. Small steps but all good so far. Take care. Have a great Christmas

Hi just stopped by to let you know surgery has been done. I'm worse than last time but each day is one step closer to getting back to helping the wildlife in need.

Well me back doing what I love is cut short I am heading off on the 6th October for surgery to repair the tendon etc rupture. Little Stanley is with me till Sunday then I will transport him to another shelter, I have made the decision to have No more surgery if this goes Pear shaped.
