Brown Hill & District Lions Club Our Brown Hill and Districts Lions club is a group of like-minded people from all walks of life who have been serving the community since 1985.

We welcome new members! We meet at 7.15pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. The Lions Club of Brown Hill & District Lions Club came about because of a man who wanted something more progressive than the club he was in. Ian Drew gathered some like-minded people and seven of them sat down at the Brown Hill Hotel to discuss forming their own Lions club. Thus, the Brown Hill and Districts Lion

s Club was formed in 1984 with 22 members inducted and sponsored by the Creswick Lions Club in March 1985. The first serving president was, fittingly, Ian Drew. (who is still a member!)
In 1987 the club purchased an old church and with a few outer modifications and a facelift created the hall that has proudly served the club, and community groups, for the last 40 years. The club continues to be a group of community orientated people from all walks of life who want something better.
