🐕 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 🐶

Lakes Entrance Dog Park will be closed on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 September while we carry out improvement works.
👷The closure is necessary because trucks and machinery will be operating in the park, making it unsafe for people and pets.
The works will include:
• moving soil mounds and tunnels to redirect dogs away from wet areas around the edges of the park
• filling low-lying wet areas with soil and reseeding with grass
• removing the existing tyre features, following reports of snakes warming themselves in the tyres
• installing rock features to provide an interactive environment for dogs
• creating additional places for owners to sit
🐕‍🦺The park is expected to reopen after the two days of work, weather permitting.

Marlo Waste Transfer Station will be closed on Sunday 13 September,

The nearest alternative transfer station is Orbost, which will be open.

Normal operations will resume after the closure at the usual time of 9.00 am Monday.

An outstanding line-up of over 2,800 cattle made for a moo-numental sale day at the East Gippsland Livestock Exchange this morning.
