Burdekin Neighbourhood Centre Burdekin Neighbourhood Centre - working with our Burdekin Community Our services extend throughout the whole of the Burdekin Shire.

The Burdekin Neighbourhood Centre endevours to identify, promote and develop the interests of our community through programs and activities conducted in the Centre and with other community groups. Supported by the Qld Department of Communities the Centre is here to:
- provide information, support and referrals
- encourage social interaction by providing a local meeting place for a variety of group

s and individuals within the community
- run programs to encourage personal growth and development
- develop netwoks within the community
- provide a venue for visiting services and programs
- gather and share information
- identify needs in the community and
- support local initiatives.
