Some great tips from Maggie Dent!

Does your child lose their cool the minute they see you in the afternoon?

After-school meltdowns are really normal. Kids could be hungry, tired or in need of a release of energy.

So, how do you lessen the impact?

Before our year ends - we wanted to share “The BEST Kindy day EVER!”.

This term, Room 4 were lucky enough to be invited out to Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre (TEEC) by Rochelle and Dayna.

We went red claw potting, fishing, pond exploring, rope climbing, we did a water conservation team challenge, learnt about taking care of our water ways and best of all we were brave and went on a “real” zip line.

A huge thank you to the team at TEEC. It was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the group’s growth in resilience, environmental awareness and physical strength and skills.

Thank you to The Whippy Express for coming to Kindy today so we could enjoy a tasty end of year treat together!

Our service has grown in leaps and bounds over the past four years and the introduction of Free Kindy has further enhanced our enrolments. We have limited vacancies across the service for target age Kindergarten children for 2025.

As we are an extended hours KINDERGARTEN, our core business is delivering an education program for children the year before they begin Prep. Our service is prioritising target age children to ensure fair and equitable access to a Kindergarten program. Three year old enrolments are encouraged to join our waitlist.

We are the only not for profit Kindergarten in Atherton with our profits being invested back into our service and the community. Our facilities and yard showcase this investment into Early Childhood education.

Our teachers are all Bachelor qualified with a degree in Education. Our groupings offer the same teachers and children daily to provide stability for children and similarities to school arrangements. We have a range of days and groupings available to allow variation in enrolments to meet family needs.

In May 2024 we went through Assessment and Rating under the National Quality Framework and are proud to say our service retained our Exceeding rating.

We encourage families to pop in and walk through our service to see what we offer. Alternatively, please email [email protected] or call 07 40912 644
