To celebrate Youth Week, the NSW Office for Youth invited young people to design a sticker that celebrates this year’s theme 'Dream. Dare. Do.'

They received hundreds of submissions to the competition from talented artists across NSW, which made the Advocate’s and Youth Advisory Council member’s job of selecting just nine finalists very difficult. Over the next few days, we will be announcing the winners in each age category.

We want to give a big round of applause to everyone who participated, it was a pleasure looking through and reading every single submission.

It is with great excitement that we announce the winners of the 12-15 age category:

Off the record: acoustic sessions

An intimate acoustic pop-up for young Sydneysiders, designed by and for young creatives.

When did you last discover a new favourite song live? Not through a playlist or a recommendation feed, but in a room so intimate you can actually feel the music. That’s Off the Record, an event that sold out last year and left everyone asking for more. So we’re bringing it back, bigger and better than before: a one-night-only acoustic pop-up where Sydney’s most exciting emerging artists take over a corporate space after dark.

Think hidden jazz bar meets Tiny Desk–style vibe, with live performances across multiple genres — from soft indie melodies to rap and everything in between. It’s a line-up of rising Sydney artists you’ll want to say you discovered first.

If that wasn’t incentive enough, there’s also free gourmet food. Enjoy quality bites that accompany the live performances.

When: 24 April 2026, 5:30pm - 8:30pm
