No Interest Loans Scheme at Armidale Neighbourhood Centre The No Interest Loan Scheme provides people on low incomes with access to safe, fair & affordable credit. Come in and speak to our team about how we can help

The No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) provides individuals and families on low incomes with access to safe, fair and affordable credit. Loan are up to $1,500 depending on Income, for essential goods and services such as car rego / repairs, fridges, washing machines, furniture, relocation costs and education essentials such as laptops, tablets text books. Repayments are set up at an affordable amount

over 12 months to 18 months

To be eligible for NILS you must have a Health Care Card or earn less than $45,000 a year (after tax). Have lived at current address for more than three months and show a willingness and capacity to repay the loan. Loans cannot be used for cash, bond, rent arrears, debt consolidation, holidays or bills. The No Interest Loan Scheme (Nils) provides community members on low incomes access to safe, fair and affordable credit. Provided in a respectful assessment process

No Interest Loans (NILs) are from not-for-profit community groups. When you pay back your loan we lend to someone else. There are no credit checks and we don’t judge you – we just help you get what you need, brand new. We only lend to you if you can afford it so you don’t get into trouble.

For essentials like a fridge, washing machine, laptop, phone. Or for school fees & booklists. Medical & dental expenses. Car rego or repairs. Even things like bond and moving expenses. (You can’t get cash).
