Thank you to St John Ambulance for visiting our school and teaching first aid awareness. Students enjoyed story time and learning valuable lifesaving skills, including CPR for the older year levels.
We appreciate the engaging and hands-on experience that helped build confidence and awareness around helping others in an emergency.

📚 National Simultaneous Storytime at Ararat North! 🦘✨

On Wednesday 27 May, our Foundation students and Miss Aimee joined children all across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime. This year’s book, Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, beautifully illustrated by Jake Minton, was an instant favourite.
The story follows Luna Roo — a spirited young kangaroo who pushes past nerves, self‑doubt and big expectations to captain FC Outback in a lively outback football adventure. Our students loved every moment of Luna’s journey and the message of courage and believing in yourself.
What made the day even more special was knowing that it wasn’t just our Foundation students reading along. Classrooms and libraries across the country were turning pages at the same time, celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling, and coming together through books.
A wonderful day for our young readers — and a reminder of the magic that stories bring to learning. 💛📖

To celebrate National Reconciliation Week, our students created a collaborative handprint artwork, now proudly displayed at the front of LA1. Each handprint represents an individual contribution to reconciliation, coming together to form a powerful reminder that we all have a role to play in creating a more inclusive and connected community.
