📣 Bake Sale Donations – Update 🧁🍪

Although our Athletics Day has been postponed until next Thursday, we can still accept any baked goods or donations that were prepared for tomorrow.

Items can be dropped off at either the Tuckshop or the School Office, and we will safely store them until the Bake Sale next week.

Thank you to everyone who has already baked, donated, or planned to contribute. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to a fantastic day next Thursday! 💙

🌧️ ATHLETICS CARNIVAL POSTPONED 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the wet weather and current field conditions, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tomorrow's Athletics/Sports Carnival.

We know this news will be disappointing for our students, staff and families, who have been eagerly looking forward to a day of fun, participation and house spirit. However, the safety of our students and the condition of our grounds must come first.

📅 New Date: Thursday 18 June 2026

All event details will remain the same, with students encouraged to wear their house colours:
🔴 Wattle
🔵 Banksia

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. The good news is that this gives everyone an extra week to practise their running, cheering and house chants!

Our amazing P&C will be firing up the barbecue and serving up plenty of sweet treats at this week's Athletics Carnival! Whether you're cheering from the sidelines, sprinting down the track, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, be sure to stop by and support our school community.

And if you have a spare hour or two to lend a hand, the P&C would love some extra volunteers. Many hands make light work (and leave more time for eating brownies 😉).

This week we celebrate two very special events in our school community.

🌟 Support Staff Appreciation Week 🌟

Behind every great school is an incredible team of people who work tirelessly to support our students, staff and families. This week we'd love to shine a spotlight on our amazing support staff – Mrs Moman, Mrs Hayter, Gav the Groundsman and our wonderful cleaning team.

Whether they're greeting families in the office, keeping our grounds looking beautiful, supporting the day-to-day running of the school, or making sure our learning spaces are clean and welcoming, they make a difference every single day.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Ready… Set… Go! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Our Athletics Carnival is racing into Alexandra Hills State Primary School on Wednesday 10th June! 🎉

Students in Prep–Year 3/4 will enjoy a morning of fun-filled Tabloid Sports, while eligible students will have the opportunity to trial for District Track and Field Events. All students will also take part in Track Events, so there’ll be plenty of chances to show off your speed, determination and house spirit!

💙 Banksia House – wear your blue!
❤️ Wattle House – wear your red!

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, cheering on your friends or simply giving it a go, Athletics Carnival is all about participation, perseverance and having fun.

🥪 The tuckshop will operate as normal on the day.

Let’s fill the oval with a sea of red and blue, plenty of encouragement and lots of house pride. May the best house win! 🏆🎽✨
