The Adelaide Planetarium will take you on an immersive journey through space. Stars and Constellations come alive during our visually stunning night sky presentations and incredible fulldome movies. Located at the University of South Australia's Mawson Lakes Campus, on Level 2 of Building P, the Planetarium projects a simulation of the night sky onto the 8-metre domed ceiling. One of our highly ex

perienced astronomers will guide you on a fascinating tour of constellations, ,stars and planets of the starry sky visible from the Southern Hemisphere. The celestial experience is done in specially designed chairs, enabling you to recline and gaze upwards in comfort. We have sessions suitable for ages 4 and up, perfect for school excursions and groups. We can also tailor special sessions for OSHC groups and birthdays. The Adelaide Planetarium is a fun and educational experience, a place to learn about the stars, solar system and our place in the universe. Built in 1972, the Planetarium is celebrating its 50th birthday in 2022.
