🏊‍♂️🏊Unanimous support behind my Council motion tonight to write to the Government opposing the closure of services at the Hampstead Rehabilitation Pool. This facility is well used, well loved and much needed in our community - without it, thousands of children, families and the wider community will have to travel significant distances or simply to go without. Thank you to Dana Wortley MP - Member for Torrens for her strong advocacy and leading this important issue, her speech in the State Parliament last week articulated the impact this decision would have on our community. 🏊

HELLO 👋

Firstly, THANK YOU so much to all our old clients who continue to touch base AND all our prospective clients who continue to show their excitement in enrolling.

Hearing from you all warms my heart!

While I've been chasing an update for a number of weeks, unfortunately, there is no news on our return date.

Yes, it sucks, its frustrating, it saddens me, I miss you all. BUT... I'm so excited for when we do finally return!

Unfortunately, we are still waiting for approval from Hampstead.

Latest update is that the pool will remain closed to outside user groups (including Gemini Swim School) for the time being.

I hope you and your families are keeping well. Looking forward to seeing you all back at the pool when it is reopened!
