We provide disability housing pathway access, navigation and consulting services to participants, providers and other clients.

Navigating housing within the NDIS can be overwhelming, especially when you’re receiving conflicting advice and trying to make sense of a complex process.

This is a reminder of how important it is to have clear communication, genuine advocacy, and someone willing to take the time to understand what’s actually needed - not just what’s easiest.

Real outcomes come from persistence, clarity, and keeping the participant at the centre of the process 🤝🏠

As we wrap up 2025, we’d like to thank the participants, families, support coordinators, providers and partners we’ve worked alongside this year. It’s been a privilege to support people in exploring and navigating disability housing pathways, and to be part of conversations that help individuals find the right housing options for their needs.

Please note our office will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period.

We’re looking forward to 2026 and continuing to support more people to navigate their housing pathways with clarity and confidence.

📍 Supporting a More Suitable Housing Future in Regional Areas

We’ve been working alongside a group of participants, their families, and support teams in regional SA to help them in their endeavour to secure long-term, purpose-built housing through the SDA housing pathway.

These individuals have lived together for many years in accommodation that isn’t enabling them to live their best lives. The commitment of their in home support provider to assist them with securing suitable long term accommodation has been exceptional, we have been honoured to work with them.

Our aim is to support a transition into a safe, suitable home environment that better reflects their individual needs, promotes autonomy, and enhances quality of life. We hope to share a positive update soon about their journey.

A huge thank you to Community Living Australia for organising and inviting us to speak at yesterday’s community SDA information day. It was an honour to present alongside so many brilliant minds and contributors to the SDA sector, including Jeramy Hope from SDAA - Specialist Disability Accommodation Alliance Alliance, Greg Barry from SDA Services, and Will Fryer and Maelle Milan from New Dawn Housing. 🙌

Our presentation focused on answering the question, “What is SDA?”— the only long-term accommodation funded by the NDIS for people who need specialist housing solutions to support extreme functional impairments or high support needs. 🏡💪 We explored pathways to SDA and the benefits, whilst the other speakers focused on eligibility, funding, and the role of the SDA Provider and best practice design.

We’re passionate about supporting those who are eligible for this pathway and ensuring that those living with disability have access to the best and most suitable housing to meet their needs. Last week, we celebrated facilitating the successful move of a group of participant’s from their basic SDA home into beautiful new build HPS SDA homes. These participant’s were able to move together, as they wanted and bring with them their chosen in-home supports. 🏡💙

The ability to move into safe, suitable, secure accommodation of the participant’s choosing was made possible through the collaborative and joint efforts of a number of value-based providers who worked together to achieve this outcome. We are grateful for the opportunity to have supported this outcome in conjunction with Cara - Disability Services Provider - Yorke Peninsula & Midnorth and Unity Housing Company and thank the participant’s appointed Support Coordinators for their contribution and support.

The ability to transition into contemporary SDA from Basic SDA often requires significant collaboration and effort.
