This exhibition in conjunction with the History Month at historic Beaumont House celebrates the six Pioneer Women of Adelaide, who made a significant impact on the early days of our settlement. The six women on display are;
MARY LEE,
AUGUSTA ZADOW,
CATHERINE SPENCE,
LADY DAVENPORT,
MURIEL MATTERS
and DAISY BATES.
A presentation by Sandy Whitelaw will be held on each exhibition date from 1.00PM to 2.00PM, about these inspiring women.
Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be available for visitors to enjoy during their visit, provided by Burnside Branch volunteers
