Having planned and held a successful Art Event the Art Show Committee enjoyed a sumptuous Debriefing Dinner. Ideas for next year’s Festival of Fine Arts were also discussed.

St Peter’s Cathedral will celebrate its 150th birthday in 2019. A year of festivals is planned.
A Festival of Fine Arts is planned for 10-13 October.

Today we set up the Cathedral Small Paintings Art Event & Auction. Thanks to the artists who donated a painting and everyone who bought a ticket to this sold out event.

Margo Miles, a well regarded artist and teacher, is offering this gorgeous prize-winning painting ‘A Pair of Pairs’ (101cm x 76cm) to be auctioned at the Cathedral Small Paintings Art Event & Auction on Friday 26 October.
The painting may be viewed at St Peter’s Cathedral next Sunday 21 October.
Bidding is now open. To make a bid email [email protected] Facebook bids close at 12 noon on Friday 26 October. Bidder identity will remain confidential. Please note we are not able to arrange postage so the winning bidder must arrange to collect it from the Cathedral Office or at the Art Event.

Tickets are $100 per person. Every purchaser will receive a small art work.
