Please stay safe, check conditions carefully, and plan accordingly… or maybe make it a maintenance day instead.

We extend our deepest condolences from all of us at Coastguard to our fellow colleagues at Marine Rescue NSW Ballina, and to the families, friends, and loved ones of those who tragically lost their lives in the recent boating incident.

Our thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. The maritime community stands together in grief, respect, and solidarity.

Today, the O’Sullivan’s Beach Coastguard honours the courage and sacrifice of all who served and gave their lives for our freedom.

We also remember and thank our members and those who continue to serve in the emergency services, protecting our community every day.
