A special feature of this year's SA Death Festival is the opportunity to meet Warren Roberts, founder of Living Legacy Forest. This is a rare chance to hear directly from him, learn about the inspiration behind Living Legacy, and ask your questions in person.

Living Legacy Forever Flowers is a unique memorial option available at Centennial Park, offering an environmentally conscious way to honour loved ones through a living garden of flowers and plants.

Whether you're curious about the concept, interested in sustainable memorial options, or would simply like to understand more about our Living Legacy Forever Flowers Garden, this is a valuable opportunity to connect with the founder and learn firsthand about this innovative approach to remembrance.

Warran will be delivering two talks in the Funeral Tent. Register your spot on the SA Death Festival website https://sadeathfestival.org/

Our Operations team have been busy planting native shrubs, sedges and groundcovers throughout the Park as part of our Environmental Sustainability Plan. While some areas of the Park are naturally shaded and protected, others are more exposed to heat, wind and changing weather conditions.

By increasing our under-storey and middle-storey plantings, we're helping to cool the environment, reduce wind exposure, improve soil health and create habitat for native bees, butterflies, birds, lizards and other fauna. They're also carefully selected to thrive in local conditions, requiring less water and supporting long-term sustainability.

Over time, these plantings will create greener, creating more diverse, climate-resilient landscapes that provide benefits for both visitors and wildlife for generations.

This artwork, Water on Country, was created by 16-year-old Caitlin from Ngutu College.

It represents the relationship between land and water surrounding Narungga Country, and the way water holds and carries stories across generations.

The artwork is one of 24 pieces featured in the Landlines and Water Stories exhibition, currently on display in our Jubilee Complex Foyer for SALA Festival.

On display Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm until August 31.
