𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Documentary, Animation, or Fiction
𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮:
- Open to all filmmakers, regardless of experience, age, education, etc. Previous participants may enter again, provided they do not resubmit a film that has already been submitted in past editions.
- Maximum length of submitted short films: 10 minutes.
- For youth film projects (ages up to 18) or group submissions by young filmmakers, a contact person or the organisation submitting the film must be named.
- Completion date must be less than two years (January 2024)
- Language: Submissions must be in German or English. Films in other languages than German or English must include German subtitles.
Shortlisted participants will be notified by 10 August 2026.
𝗝𝘂𝗿𝘆:
An international jury will nominate five films in each main category and three films in the special youth category.
𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆:
The nominated short films will be screened as part of the 13th KLIMA & UMWELT FILMFESTIVAL BADEN on 2 October 2026 at Cinema Paradiso Baden, where the winners will be announced.

𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮:
- Offen für alle Filmemacher, unabhängig von ihrer Erfahrung, Alter, Ausbildung usw. Frühere TeilnehmerInnen können erneut teilnehmen, sofern sie keinen Film einreichen, der bereits in früheren Ausgaben eingereicht wurde.
- Maximale Länge der eingereichten Kurzfilme: 10 Minuten.
- Bei Jugendfilmprojekten (bis 18 Jahre) oder Gruppenbeiträgen junger FilmemacherInnen muss eine Kontaktperson oder die einreichende Organisation angegeben werden.
- Fertigstellungsdatum darf nicht älter als zwei Jahre sein (Januar 2024).
- Sprache: Einreichungen müssen auf Deutsch oder Englisch sein. Filme in anderen Sprachen müssen deutsche Untertitel enthalten.
Die ausgewählten TeilnehmerInnen werden bis zum 10. August 2026 benachrichtigt.
𝗝𝘂𝗿𝘆:
Eine internationale Jury nominiert fünf Filme in jeder Hauptkategorie und drei Filme in der Sonderkategorie „Jugend“.
𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆:
Die nominierten Kurzfilme werden im Rahmen des 13. KLIMA & UMWELT FILMFESTIVALS BADEN am 2. Oktober 2026 im Cinema Paradiso Baden gezeigt, wo auch die GewinnerInnen bekanntgegeben werden.
