Strengthening India–Albania P2P Bonds through Culture, Cuisine and Cinema
The Embassy of India, Tirana, organized a cultural connect event at the Amphitheatre in Grand Lake Park, Tirana, as part of the ongoing Special Independence Day Edition of the Bharat Ko Janiye (BKJ) Quiz (3–14 August 2026).
The event highlighted Indian and Albanian cultural connect through India’s rich culture, heritage, cinema, cuisine and shared people-to-people links. An Indian culinary stall featuring popular delicacies such as Samosas and Gulab Jamuns attracted enthusiastic response from the Albanian visitors.
Local youth and children took part with great enthusiasm in the BKJ Quiz, reflecting growing interest in India’s history, culture, and development story and at the same time strengthening cultural ties between India and Albania.
The evening concluded with an open-air screening of the acclaimed Indian film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, offering audiences an engaging glimpse into Indian cinema and contemporary Indian way of life.
The Embassy sincerely thanks the Municipality of Tirana and the Agency for Parks and Recreation (APR) for their valued support, and the people of Tirana for their warm and enthusiastic participation.
