The Royal Court has the pleasure of announcing the birth of His Royal Highness Prince Aleksandër of the Albanians, the son of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Leka II of the Albanians and Her Royal Highness Princess Blerta, born on Friday, 10 July 2026.

Her Royal Highness Princess Blerta gave birth at 11.11am this morning at the Queen Geraldine University Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Tirana. The Prince weighed 3kg 115g.

Her Royal Highness and Prince Aleksandër are both doing well.

Their Royal Highnesses express their sincere gratitude to the medical team of the Queen Geraldine University Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for their exceptional care, professionalism, and dedication throughout this joyous occasion. With special appreciation to Merita Alushani.
