Kabineti është strukturë organizative që funksionon pranë drejtuesit më të lartë civil e ushtarak në Ministrinë e Mbrojtjes. Ai luan një rol të rëndësishëm konsultativ për problemet dhe fushën e përgjegjësisë që mbulon drejtuesi, si dhe shërben si strukturë filtruese e problemeve administrative të drejtuesit duke e lehtësuar atë nga problemet e rutinës së përditshme.
2. Ajo është përgjegjëse për
fushën e drejtimit që mbulon, në kuadrin e misionit të strukturës përkatëse. Për problemet e përkatësisë së saj ajo luan rolin kryesor këshillues të drejtuesit më të lartë të strukturës ku ndodhet.
3. Sektori është struktura bazë dhe më e specializuar për elementët e veçantë të një fushe drejtimi. Ai mund të jetë brenda një drejtorie ose i pavarur, ku fusha që mbulon nuk ka lidhje me natyrën e punës së drejtorisë, por luan rol të rëndësishëm në plotësimin e misionit të strukturës së MM.
4. Zyrat. Zyrat janë pjesë përbërëse e strukturës së sektorëve dhe drejtorive, të cilat mbulojnë aspekte të veçanta të veprimtarisë dhe përgjigjen për fushën që mbulojnë.

Subordinate Structures of the Ministry
1. The Cabinet. The Cabinet is the organizational structure which operates nearby the highest civilian and military leaders in the Ministry of Defense. It plays a consultative role for the problems and area of responsibility that covers the head of the istitution, and serves as a filter structure for administrative issuses to facilitate the management of routine problems.
2. The Directorate. The Directorate is the basic structure of the MoD. It is responsible for covering its field of management, in the framework of the mission of the specific structure. On issues like its advisory role, it plays an important role for the senior officials of the structure where it is part.
3. The Sector. The sector is the basic structure and a more specialized element for a particular field of management. It may be part of a directorate or independent, if the scope is not related to the nature of the directorate work, but plays an important role in fulfilling the mission of the MoD structure.
4. Offices. Offices are part of the sectors and directorates structure, which cover specific aspects of activity and responds for the field they cover up.
