Në kuadër të projektit “Local Food Policies in Albania: Sustainable Short Value Chains and Farmers’ Market”, financuar nga AICS – Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo, më 23 korrik 2026 u zhvillua në Bari, Itali, konferenca për shtyp për prezantimin zyrtar të projektit.
📌Gjatë konferencës u prezantuan objektivat dhe rezultatet e pritshme të projektit. Në muajt në vijim, projekti do të përfshijë 100 prodhues, do të mbështesë krijimin ose forcimin e 5 kooperativave, do të kontribuojë në ngritjen e një Tregu të Fermerëve në Tiranë dhe të një Food Waste Hub, do të trajnojë 10 funksionarë publikë dhe do të ndihmojë të paktën 1.000 qytetarë në nevojë përmes rikuperimit dhe rishpërndarjes së tepricave ushqimore.
🤝 Projekti zbatohet nga Città Metropolitana di Bari, në partneritet me CIHEAM Bari, World Farmers Markets Coalition, Fondazione Banco Alimentare, Bashkinë e Tiranës, Agjencinë për Administrimin e Tregjeve dhe Food Bank Albania.

As part of the “Local Food Policies in Albania: Sustainable Short Value Chains and Farmers’ Market” project, funded by AICS – the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, the official press conference presenting the project was held in Bari, Italy, on 23 July 2026.
During the event, the project’s objectives and expected results were presented. Over the coming months, the project will engage 100 producers, support the establishment or strengthening of five cooperatives, contribute to establishing a Farmers’ Market and a Food Waste Hub in Tirana, provide training for 10 public officials, and support at least 1,000 vulnerable citizens through the recovery and redistribution of surplus food.
The project is implemented by the Metropolitan City of Bari, in partnership with CIHEAM Bari, the World Farmers Markets Coalition, Fondazione Banco Alimentare, the Municipality of Tirana, the Agency for Market Administration, and Food Bank Albania.
