23.08.2022 в Україні відзначається День Державного Прапора 🇺🇦
Історія українського прапора сягає сивої давнини. У ньому втілені віковічні прагнення до миру, праці, краси та багатства рідної землі. Синьо-жовтий прапор – символ мужності, витривалості, боротьби за українську державність.
В усьому світі синьо-жовтий колір стяга уособлює сміливість, незалежність, демократичні цінності й найкращі чесноти, властиві мужньому українському народові. І це, звичайно, ж колір нашої перемоги, яку впевнено наближають наші Збройні сили України, усі працівники на фронті і в тилу, наші міжнародні партнери! І вона неодмінно буде за Україною!

📝Історія свята: На загальнодержавному рівні свято встановлено указом Президента України Леоніда Кучми № 987/2004 «Про День Державного Прапора України» від 23.08.2004. Цей указ було доповнено Указом Президента України Віктора Ющенка № 602/2009 «Про внесення змін до Указу Президента України від 23 серпня 2004 року N 987», яким було засновано підняття Прапора України у День Державного прапора України і під час інших державних свят та проведення загальнодержавних заходів. Поточну редакцію указу опубліковано на сайті Верховної Ради України.

📝 History of the holiday: Since 1992 Independence Day of Ukraine is celebrated on 24 August.] According to the official version, on August 23, 1991 — after the failure of the putsch in Moscow — a group of people's deputies brought a blue-yellow Ukrainian flag into the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada. The consecration of the flag was conducted by the priest of the UAOC Peter Boyk. The Decree of the President of Ukraine, L. Kuchma, "On the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine" No. 987/2004 was tied to this event, a corresponding picture was painted on the wall of the VRU, and this flag, like a relic, is solemnly kept under glass in the VRU museum. The next day, Ukraine declared independence.
