نظّمت دائرة الإحصاء والتنمية المجتمعية في الشارقة جلسة بعنوان
“ما بعد الناتج المحلي الإجمالي: ربط المجتمعات من خلال البيانات والأثر”، وذلك ضمن فعاليات أسبوع اللجنة الإحصائية للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك، والتي استضافتها البعثة الدائمة لدولة الإمارات لدى الأمم المتحدة.
وقادت الدائرة تنظيم هذه الجلسة التي جمعت نخبة من ممثلي المكاتب الإحصائية الوطنية والمنظمات الدولية ومؤسسات صنع السياسات، حيث تضمنت كلمة رئيسية وجلسات نقاشية تناولت التوجه العالمي نحو قياس التقدم والتنمية بما يتجاوز المؤشرات الاقتصادية التقليدية، مع التركيز على رفاه الأسرة، وتماسك المجتمع، والتنمية المرتكزة على الإنسان، بما يتماشى مع توجهات عام الأسرة في دولة الإمارات
The delegation from the Department of Statistics and Community Development organized and hosted the session “Beyond GDP: Connecting Communities Through Data and Impact” during the week of the United Nations Statistical Commission in New York, at the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations.
The session brought together a diverse group of representatives from national statistical offices, international organizations, and policy institutions, and featured a keynote address and panel discussions exploring the global shift toward measuring progress beyond traditional economic indicators, with a focus on family wellbeing, community cohesion, and people-centred development in the context of the UAE’s Year of Family.
