It is just 10 kilometers away from Sharjah city centre and about 15 kilometers away from the Emirate of Dubai. It is also just a few kilometers away from the Emirates of Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras- Al-Khaimah and Fujairah.

Today you can import or export all types of perishable shipments including flowers, fresh products and frozen items through Sharjah Airport Cargo Center, which provides extensive network and connection offered by the various freighters operating into Sharjah Airport, in addition to the state-of-the-art infrastructure including cold storage units and freezers. مطار الشارقة هو أول مطار في الشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا يحصل على اعتماد IATA CEIV Pharma عبر شركة الشارقة لخدمات الطيران ساس (Sharjah Aviation Services).

يوفّر المطار سلسلة تبريد متكاملة تشمل وحدة تخزين بسعة 1500 م³ بدرجات حرارة 2–8°C و15–25°C، وشاحنات مبردة مزوّدة بأنظمة GPS لمراقبة الحرارة في الوقت الحقيقي، إضافة إلى وحدات تبريد في ساحة الطائرات لضمان سلامة الأدوية طوال رحلة الشحن.

شاهدوا جانبًا من زيارتنا إلى مركز أطفال الرقة التابع لـ ، حيث شاركنا الأطفال جلسة قصصية ممتعة لقراءة قصة مطار الشارقة «الرجاء ربط الأحزمة».

هدفت الجلسة إلى تعريف الأطفال وتوعيتهم بمختلف مراحل رحلة المسافر في المطار، بدءًا من إجراءات تسجيل الوصول ووصولًا إلى الصعود إلى الطائرة، وذلك بأسلوب تفاعلي ومشوّق.

Watch a glimpse of our visit to Al Riqa Children Center, part of , where we enjoyed an engaging storytelling session featuring the Sharjah Airport storybook “Fasten Your Seatbelts.”

The session introduced children to the passenger journey and raised their awareness of the different steps travelers go through at the airport, from check-in to boarding, in a fun and interactive way.
