“ብዝኃነት፡የኢትዮጵያ ጌጥ” በሚል መሪ ቃል የህብር ቀንና የ2019 ዓ.ም. የኢትዮጵያ አዲስ ዓመት ዋዜማ በዓል በዱባይ እና ሰሜን ኤምሬቶች የኢ.ፌ.ዲ.ሪ. ቆንስል ጄኔራል ክቡር አቶ ዘሪሁን መገርሳ፣ በአቡዳቢ የኢፌዴሪ ኤምባሲ ተጠባባቂ ጉዳይ ፈጻሚ አቶ ኬኔሳ መኮንን፣ ዲፕሎማቶች፣ በዱባይና ሰሜን ኤምሬቶች የኢትዮጵያ ኮሚኒቲ ማህበር ሥራ አመራር ቦርድ ምክትል ሊቀመንበር ወ/ሮ ህሊና ታደሰ እንዲሁም የእምነት አባቶች፣ የሁለቱ ኮሚኒቲ ማህበራት የሥራ አመራር ቦርድ አባላት እና በርካታ ኢትዮጵያውያን፣ ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያውያንና ተጋባዥ እንግዶች በተገኙበት ጳጉሜ 04 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም በዱባይ ከተማ በድምቀት ተከብሯል።

መርሐ ግብሩ በአቡዳቢ የኢፌዴሪ ኤምባሲ፣ በዱባይና ሰሜን ኤምሬቶች የኢፌዴሪ ቆንስላ ጄኔራል ጽ/ቤት፣ እንዲሁም በአቡዳቢ እና በዱባይና ሰሜን ኤምሬቶች የኢትዮጵያ ኮሚኒቲ ማህበራት ቅንጅት የተዘጋጀ ሲሆን፣ በኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ መዝሙርና በሃይማኖት አባቶች ጸሎትና ቡራኬ ተጀምሮ፣ በአበባየሆሽ ጭፈራ እና በጥዑመ ዜማ ታጅቦ ደምቋል።

በመርሃ ግብሩ ላይ በዱባይና ሰሜን ኤምሬቶች የኢፌዴሪ ቆንስል ጄኔራል ክቡር አቶ ዘሪሁን መገርሳ ባስተላለፉት መልዕክት፣ የህብር ቀንን ከአዲስ ዓመት ዋዜማ ጋር ማክበር ጥልቅ ሀገራዊ ትርጉም እንዳለው ገልጸው፣ ሀገራችን ኢትዮዽያ በብዝሃ ማንነት ያጌጠች፣ በህብር የተገነባች ብሩህ ተስፋን የሰነቀች በመሆኗ ተከባብሮና ተባብሮ የጋራ ሀገርን ማጽናት እንደሚገባ አስገንዝበዋል።

በማከልም አዲሱ ዓመት የተሰጠንን ዕድል ወደ ሥራና ውጤት የምንቀይርበት ዘመን ሊሆን እንደሚገባ ጠቁመዋል። በተጨማሪም በወዳጅ የተባበሩት አረብ ኤምሬቶች የሚኖረ ዜጎች በዚህ አዲስ ዓመት የሀገራቸውን ገጽታ በሚገነባ እና ሀገርን ለማልማት በሚደረገው ርብብር በጋራ እንዲቆሙ ጥሪ አቅርበዋል፡፡

በአቡዳቢ የኢ.ፌ.ዴ.ሪ. ኤምባሲ ተጠባባቂ ጉዳይ ፈጻሚ አቶ ኬኔሳ መኮንን በበኩላቸው ባደረጉት ንግግር፣ የዘንድሮው የህብር ቀን “ብዝኃነት፡ የኢትዮጵያ ጌጥ” በሚል መሪ ቃል መከበሩን ጠቅሰው፣ የኢትዮጵያ ጥንካሬ ልዩነቶቿን በአንድነት ማስተሳሰር ላይ የተመሠረተ መሆኑን አንስተዋል። በውጭ የሚኖሩ ዜጎችም ኢትዮጵያዊነታቸውን በመተሳሰብ፣ ባህላቸውን በመጠበቅና ሀገራዊ እሴቶችን ለትውልድ በማስተላለፍ እንዲያጠናክሩ፣ ዕውቀታቸውንና አቅማቸውንም ለሀገር ጥቅም እንዲያውሉ ጥሪ አቅርበዋል።

በመርሃ ግብሩ ላይ መልዕክት ያስተላለፉት በዱባይና ሰሜን ኤምሬቶች የኢትዮጵያ ኮሚኒቲ ማህበር ሥራ አመራር ቦርድ ምክትል ሊቀመንበር ወ/ሮ ህሊና ታደሰ ከአገራቸው ርቀው የሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን በእንደዚህ ዓይነት መልኩ አምረው እና ደምቀው በበዓሉ ላይ በመገኘታቸው በማመስገን አንድነታቸውን እንዲያጠናክሩ ጥሪ አስተላልፈዋል።

በዕለቱ የኢትዮጵያን ብዝኃነትና የጋራ ማንነት የሚያሳይ የቪዲዮ ዝግጅት፣የህጻናትና ወጣቶች “አበባየሆሽ” ባህላዊ ትዕይንት፣ የሙዚቃ ዝግጅቶችና የአዲስ ዓመት ኬክ ቆረሳ ሥነ-ሥርዓት እንዲሁም የአገራችን ባህላዊ ምግቦች የቀረቡ ሲሆን ታዳሚዎችም በባህላዊ ልብሶቻቸው ደምቀው በሙዚቃና በባህላዊ ዝግጅቶች ተዝናንተው፣ በአብሮነት የበዓሉን ድባብ አድምቀዋል።

ዝግጅቱ በተባበሩት አረብ ኤምሬቶች የሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ብዝሃነታቸውን ያከበሩበት፣ አንድነታቸውንና የጋራ ኢትዮጵያዊ ማንነታቸውን ያጸኑበት ደማቅ መድረክ ሆኖ ተጠናቋል።

H.E. President Taye Atske Selassie Addresses AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai

H.E. Taye Atske Selassie, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, delivered a Special Guest Keynote Address at the opening of AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, held under the theme “Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future.”

Addressing global leaders, policymakers, investors and business executives, President Taye highlighted the profound transformation taking place in the global economic landscape, driven by shifting value and supply chains, geopolitical realignments and rapid technological advancement.

The President emphasized that, for Africa, these changes represent not only challenges but also significant opportunities. He underscored that Africa must not remain a spectator to global change, but should actively shape its own economic future, supported by resilience, predictability, inclusion and mutually beneficial partnerships.

President Taye outlined five strategic investment frontiers for Africa: clean energy, agriculture and agro-processing, critical minerals, infrastructure and strategic corridors, and human capital. He highlighted Ethiopia’s successive economic reforms and growing opportunities across these sectors, as well as the country’s ambition to strengthen its position as a regional hub for trade, investment, energy and logistics.

Calling for stronger international partnerships and greater private-sector engagement, the President stressed that investors should look beyond short-term risks and recognize the generational opportunities emerging across Africa.

Earlier, H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade and President of AIM Congress, highlighted the changing geography of global trade and investment and the growing importance of technology, connectivity and sustainability. He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to building international economic partnerships and serving as a global platform connecting capital, commerce, innovation and markets.

The opening of AIM Congress 2026 underscored the growing opportunities for Ethiopia, the UAE and the wider African continent to deepen investment, trade and economic partnerships in a rapidly evolving global economy.

Ethiopia–Dubai Business Relations Continue to Strengthen

H.E. Mr. Zerihun Megersa Jima, Consul General of the Federal Democratic Republic of in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, met with H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, at Dubai Chambers to discuss ways of further strengthening trade, investment, and business cooperation between and .

During the meeting the Consul General expressed his appreciation for H.E. Mr. Lootah’s leadership and Dubai Chambers’ important role in spearheading the successful Ethiopia–Dubai Business Forum recently held in Addis Ababa. Building on the outcomes of the Forum, he also shared feedback on the engagement and briefed on preparations for the upcoming Dubai-Addis Ababa Business Forum, organized scheduled to take place in Dubai in the month of November.

For his part, H.E. Mr. Lootah welcomed the continued engagement and highlighted the growing volume of trade between Dubai and Ethiopia. Against this encouraging backdrop, he reaffirmed Dubai Chambers’ readiness to further strengthen business-to-business connections, facilitate greater private-sector engagement, and support the exploration of new opportunities for expanding trade and investment cooperation.

Looking ahead both sides underscored the importance of maintaining close institutional collaboration, sustaining the momentum generated by recent engagements, and working together to further advance Ethiopia–Dubai economic relations.
