العالم ممكن يكون منتهاش في 21-12-2012، بس لو كملنا في نفس الطريق الإحنا ماشيين فيه، فالعالم مش هيبقى قُدامه كتير. إحنا بدأنا بالفعل نتأثر بعوامل التغيرات المناخية، و ديه حقيقة الإعلام بيخفيها لصالح أصحاب النفوذ في مجال البترول، تاركاً أكثرية البشر في ظلمة غير مدركين بالخطورات التي تحملها التغيرات المناخية ومهددين للتأثر بها، خاصة في منطقة مثل مصر، حيث نحن مهددين بخسارة سواحلنا، وزراعتنا، وصناعتنا، والأهم من كدة شعبنا.
حان الوقت لنأخذ الأعلام بأيدينا، حان الوقت لننشر حقيقة تغير المناخ، لا يمكن أن تظل حقيقة التغير المناخي سراً للمزيد من الوقت، وده هدف ورشة العمل.
برنامج سفراء مناخ ديمينا بيستقبل نماذج التقديم لورشة عمل من ثلاثة أيام عن موضوع المناخ والإعلام في زاد المسافر (http://www.fayoum.gov.eg/Tou/Tunis/Zad/default.aspx) في محافظة الفيوم. حتلاقي كل المعلومات إللي تخص ورشة العمل وكل أهدافها. لمعلومات أكثر عن برنامج سفراء المناخ : http://www.climateambassadors.net/
لثلاثة أيام سنتشارك معلومات عن المناخ لكننا لن "نتحدث" كثيرا. وسائل الإعلام المختلفة أثبتت انها تستطيع ان تصنع التغيير سواء كانت مقالات أو رسوم حائط (جرافيتي) أو الصور أو الافلام القصيرة كل تلك الوسائل ووسائل أخرى غيرها غيرت آراء الشعوب في قضايا سياسية وقضايا اقتصادية وقد حان الوقت الآن في استغلال تلك الوسائل لنبعث برسالتنا عن الازمة المناخية.
نحن نبحث عن شباب شغوف ومتحمس مهتم بالقضايا البيئية ولديه الموهبة والإبداع لصنع عمل مميز للغاية.
ستكون ورشة العمل لمدة ثلاثة أيام في زاد المسافر في الفيوم ابتداء من 3 يناير وحتى 5 يناير.جميع نفقات ورشة العمل مدفوعة. ليس هناك أي رسوم للمشاركة.
الموعد النهائي للتقديم هو 11:59 مساء30 ديسمبر.

The world might have not ended on 21-12-2012, but if the world continues on the same track we're currently following, our world might not have long. We are already suffering from climate change and that is a fact media underplays for the good of the powerful few of the fossil industries, leaving the many in darkness not knowing the imminent dangers of climate change and prone to its impacts, especially in an area like Egypt, where we are threatened to lose our coastal land, our agriculture, our industry and above all our people.
It's the time we take media into our own hands, it's the time we get truth about climate change out there, it cannot be a secret any more, and this is what this workshop is about.
The DEMENA Youth Climate Ambassadors Program is now accepting applications for a 3-day Media and Climate workshop in Fayoum, Egypt. For 3 days, we're going to be communicating environmental science, but we're not going to be exactly "talking". Media products have proven they can make massive changes, blogs, graffiti, photographs, short films and a lot more kinds of Media have changed nations' perspectives of economic and political issues. We believe that now is the time we utilize this powerful weapon to convey the message of the Climate Crisis.
We're looking for passionate and driven youth with an interest in environmental affairs and enough talent and creativity to create something that is completely out of the box.
The 3-day workshop will be in Zad AlMusafer in Fayoum governorate (http://www.fayoum.gov.eg/Tou/Tunis/Zad/default.aspx) in January 3-5th, 2012. All workshop expenses are paid for and there are NO fees required for participation.
