تأسست هيئة تنمية المجتمع بمرسوم من صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي في يوليو 2008. تتولى الهيئة مسؤولية تنظيم وتطوير أطر التنمية المجتمعية في إمارة دبي لتحقيق غايات خطة دبي الاستراتيجية 2015 التي أعلن عنها سموه في فبراير 2007. كما تتولى هيئة تنمية المجتمع الإشراف العام على تحقيق مخرجات القطاع الاجتماعي من خلال إنشاء و إدارة

نظام متكامل وكفؤ للتنمية والخدمات الاجتماعية في الإمارة. ويتضمن ذلك إعداد الخطط الاستراتيجية الشاملة المتعلقة بالقطاع الاجتماعي والإشراف على تنفيذها واقتراح التشريعات المتعلقة بالخدمات الاجتماعية وتطوير جودة مخرجات قطاع التنمية الاجتماعية. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in July 2008. CDA is responsible for setting up and developing a framework for social development, and aims to achieve the goals outlined in the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 (DSP), as declared by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in February 2007. The Community Development Authority is responsible for the overall supervision to achieve social sector outputs, and provide the provisions of social services in order to create an integrated and efficient management system for the development of social services in the emirate. This includes the preparation, ex*****on, and supervision of comprehensive strategic plans, and proposing legislation related to social services to improve the outputs of the social development sector.

بمناسبة يوم المرأة الإماراتية 2026، وفي أجواء رياضية وترفيهية نابضة بالحيوية، شاركت سيدات من مختلف الأعمار والفئات، في فعالية "دبي مولاثون" التي أُقيمت في دبي مول، بحضور ميثاء الشامسي، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع التمكين المجتمعي.

كانت الفعالية فرصة للاحتفاء بما حققته المرأة الإماراتية من إنجازات رائدة وإسهامات مؤثرة في شتى مجالات الحياة، كما عزّزت قيم المشاركة المجتمعية، وشجعت أفراد المجتمع على تبنّي أسلوب حياة صحي ونشط.


Celebrating Emirati Women’s Day 2026, women of all ages and backgrounds took part in the Dubai Mallathon at Dubai Mall, in a lively sporting and recreational atmosphere, in the presence of Maitha Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the .Community Empowerment Sector

The event celebrated the pioneering achievements and meaningful contributions of Emirati women across all areas of life, while promoting community participation and encouraging everyone to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.

⁨ نواصل تشجيع الشباب المواطنين على الزواج، وتعزيز استقرار الأسرة في إمارة دبي.

ضمن برنامج الشيخة هند بنت مكتوم للأسرة، نظّمت ، بالتعاون مع مجلس شباب دبي، جلسة تصميم تشاركي بعنوان "مستقبل الأسرة من منظور الشباب".
هدفت الجلسة إلى إشراك الشباب في مناقشة القضايا المرتبطة بالزواج وتكوين الأسرة، والاستماع إلى آرائهم وتطلعاتهم حول مستقبل الأسرة، إلى جانب استكشاف أولوياتهم واحتياجاتهم والممكنات التي يمكن أن تسهم في دعمهم نحو تكوين أسر مستقرة ومستدامة.


We continue to encourage young Emiratis to embark on their journey towards marriage and support greater family stability across Dubai.

As part of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme, the , in collaboration with the Dubai Youth Council, organised a participatory brainstorming session titled “The Future of Family Through the Eyes of Youth.”
The session brought young people into the conversation around marriage and starting a family, creating a space to hear their views and aspirations for the future of family life, while exploring their priorities, needs, and the support that can help them build stable and sustainable families.

وهدفت الفعالية إلى توفير تجربة رياضية تراعي قدرات الأطفال واحتياجاتهم، وتسهم في دعم نموهم الحسي والحركي، وتنمية مهاراتهم وتعزيز ثقتهم بأنفسهم واستقلاليتهم، بما يترجم توجه الهيئة نحو تمكين الأفراد من العيش بكرامة واستقلالية، والانتقال من تقديم الدعم إلى توسيع فرص المشاركة الكاملة والفاعلة في المجتمع.

As part of ’s efforts to develop initiatives and programmes that enhance the quality of life of individuals and families, while expanding opportunities for the inclusion and community participation of People of Determination, the Dubai Child Development Centre, part of the Authority, organised an inclusive sports event in collaboration with Pinpoint Fitness, bringing together a group of children of determination and their families.
The event offered a sports experience tailored to the children’s abilities and needs, supporting their sensory and motor development, building their skills, confidence and independence, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to empowering individuals to live with dignity and independence, moving beyond support towards creating greater opportunities for full and active participation in society.

Empowering Emirati women is fundamental to building a cohesive and sustainable society.

As part of the national celebration of , the Women’s Committee at the hosted a special gathering for a group of Emirati women, in the presence of Maitha Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Community Empowerment Sector.

Friendly conversations, competitions, prizes and interactive activities brought the celebration to life, reflecting appreciation for Emirati women and their role in strengthening families, shaping
generations and contributing across all areas of development.

The organised a leisure trip for Senior Citizens Council mothers in collaboration with Etihad Rail, travelling from Abu Dhabi Station to Fujairah Station in a journey filled with discovery, joy and memorable moments.

The trip reflects the Authority’s commitment to providing meaningful experiences for senior citizens that encourage their participation and create new opportunities for leisure, connection and lasting memories.
